Boeing 737 Max 8: Air Peace Releases Statement

Due to public outcry over Boeing 737 Max 8 and many airlines placing a ban over it, Nigeria’s Air Peace placed an order for 10 new Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft in October 2018.

However, due to the recent crash of both Lion Airplane and an Ethiopian Airways plane, some Nigerians have called for a boycott of Air Peace because the two crashes involved Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft.

Air Peace has now clarified that it is yet to take delivery of the aircraft that it ordered because they are still being manufactured in the United States.
