Its yet another day in the city of Lagos and this time, in Victoria Island. A truck carrying diesel fell across the high way in the early hours of Friday where it caused traffic as the trailer fell across the road which obstructed traffic.
As at 11 am, some parts like Ozumba Mbadiwe, Lekki -Ikoyi toll gate, VI roads are still blocked despite the Lagos Rescue Team removing the trailer.
The road was cordoned off to allow for unhindered safe rescue operations as the tanker fell across the road, spilling its content in the process.

Men of the Lagos State Fire Service and Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Police, gare at the scene to prevent a possible outbreak of fire as well as recover the fallen tanker.
The tanker has since been recovered while the LRU team neutralize the area that fuel has spread to.
