Nigeria Took Delivery Of 6 Diamond Aircrafts For NCAT, Zaria – PHOTOS

Nigeria’s minister of aviation, Hadi Sirika has received on behalf of Nigeria 6 new state of the art aircraft that will be used for Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria.  The school is funded by the Civil Aviation Department in the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Aviation. Formerly known as the Nigerian Civil Aviation Training Centre, the school was established in 1964

The excited minister who took to his social media page to announce the news said, I just received in Austria, 6 new state of the art Aircraft for NCAT Zaria. To be delivered within 3 weeks. In our effort to catch up with technology inline with our approved roadmap. Our efforts have earned Zaria the status of ICAO regional training center of excellence.

According to Wikipedia, Diamond Aircraft Industries is a Chinese-owned manufacturer of general aviation aircraft and motor gliders, based in Austria. It is the third-largest manufacturer of aircraft for the general aviation sector and had a global presence; possessing its own manufacturing facilities in Wiener Neustadt, Lower Austria and in London, Ontario, Canada, as well as further production lines operated as joint ventures in other nations, such as China.
