An Aerial View Of The Abule Ado Gas Blast In Lagos That Left 16 Dead, Houses Razed (Photos & Video)

The Abule-Ado blast which happened on Sunday morning and left 16 people dead with homes and properties worth millions of naira all destroyed. The victims include students from a catholic school and their principal who was trying to save the students ended up dying in the process. To many, this is a dream they pray not to happen or come to pass but the reality has finally set in.

According to the press release by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), the cause was as a collision between a tanker truck and a gas terminal which caused the blast.

A drone pilot name Olalekan Olufusi decided to give an aerial overview showing the extent of the damage that this blast has caused. As at 10 am Monday morning, Olalekan reported that even though the fire has been curtailed yet, the fire is still burning in a hole.
