The Lagos State Government has begun the immediate disinfection of bus stops, garages, motor parks and public places in the metropolis.
The Lagos State Government is not leaving any stone unturned and has started the disinfection of motor parks, garages, bus stops and public places in the city. This became necessary to keep the city free of any virus and also to disinfect public places.
The fumigation is specifically designed to stop the spread of the disease that has forced many Nigerian states into partial lockdown including Lagos.
In the same vein, the exercise was carried out at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Ikeja, Lagos, this was done by the FAAN.
As at 25th March, reported cases in Nigeria has risen to 46 with Lagos having a larger chunk of it mostly due to people coming inside the country.
