This 2020 Lincoln Navigator INKAS Armored Luxury SUV Can Withstand 2-Hand Grenades, Explosion

Say hello to the 2020 Lincoln Navigator L by Inkas. Armoured by the Canadian company, the luxury SUV features ballistic protection all around the passenger compartment, including a reinforced roof and floor as well as multi-layer glass.

As a specialist in the production of a variety of bulletproof vehicles in Toronto, Canada, Inkas has unveiled its latest project, which is based on the Long version of the Lincoln Neugitor.

The car is fully resilient with special tires, floor coverings, interior walls, glass and is fully resistant to the simultaneous explosion of two hand grenades by obtaining the BR6 level standard.

According to Inkas, the treatment delivers BR6-level protection that helps it cope with 7.62×51 mm or .308 Winchester FMJ ammunition. Furthermore, it can withstand explosions from up to two hand grenades detonated at the same time.

In addition to the bulletproof passenger compartment, the Navigator features protection for the battery and electronic control module, reinforced door hinges and other structure points, re-tuned suspension and run-flat tires. Other armoring packages are available for the vehicle: heavy-duty brake system and wheels, fire suppression system, siren, intercom and PA, and emergency lights.

Based on the long wheelbase version, the armored Navigator is equipped with premium leather trim, head-up display, rear-seat entertainment system, individual captain’s chairs, premium audio, illuminated running boards, LED headlights and more.

Power is provided by the 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, hooked up to a 10-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. The engine remains stock, so it pumps out 450 HP and 510 lb-ft (691 Nm) of torque.
