COVID-19: Kano State Government Receives 5 Ambulances, 20 Vehicles From BUA Foundation

Kano State Government received a donation of 5 ambulances, 20 vehicles from the BUA foundation to the COVID-19 team in Kano.

The Kano State Government has received a donation of ambulances, vehicles for the smooth operation of COVID-19 cases in the state. The donation includes 5 brand new Ambulances and 20 operational vehicles by BUA Foundation.

With these donations, the Kano COVID-19 Team can work effectively as issues of logistics have been taken care of.

Abdul Samad is the founder and chairman of BUA Group, a Nigerian conglomerate concentrating on manufacturing, infrastructure and agriculture and producing revenue in excess of $2.5 billion. He is also the chairman of the Nigerian Bank of Industry (BOI).

In 2013, Forbes estimated Abdul Samad’s wealth at $1.2 billion, putting him in the global billionaire’s club.

Abdul Samad is born in Kano.

The State Governor, Umar Ganduje was present to receive the vehicles from the foundation.

Kano is the second on the list of the COVID-19 cases in Nigeria, it currently has 365 confirmed cases with 8 recorded deaths.
