Lagos is a cosmopolitan city with about 2-3million cars, vehicles that ply the city daily with lots of Danfos and Keke Napep that struggle the road with drivers, it is expedient one has to be careful while driving in the city of Lagos.
Below are the top seven safety tips while driving in Lagos.
1. Don’t use your mobile phone while driving
One of the warnings of the federal road safety commission (FRSC) and LASTMA is warning against making or receiving calls, even using a ‘hands-free’ phone, can distract your attention from driving and could lead to an accident/crash.
2. Don’t drink and drive

3. Slow down

5. Anticipate

6. Use car seats
Child and baby seats should be fitted properly and checked every all trip.
7. Keep your distance
Always keep a three-second gap between you and the car in front.
