2 Dead As Helicopter Crashed Into A Residential Building In Opebi, Ikeja (PHOTOS)
The area of Opebi received a shock in the early hours of Friday as a helicopter belonging to Quorum Aviation crashed into a building in the area, the incident happened at about 12. 17pm, at 16A Salvation Road, Opebi, Lagos.
The Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command which was present at the scene of the crash has provided details of the ill-fated helicopter that crashed into a building in Opebi area of Lagos today.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, who was one of the early callers at the scene, said two occupants of the chopper died on the spot while the third occupant was rescued alive and moved to the hospital.
Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB), LASEMA, NEMA, Police and other agencies were at the scene.
The scene has been secured as an investigation has commenced into the crash.
