Ahead Of Commissioning, Agege Pen-Cinema Bridge Lights Up (PHOTOS)

The Agege Pen-Cinema bridge is scheduled for commissioning any moment from now. The bridge which has been in works for almost 3 years has reached a logical completion stage.

It will be recalled that the Lagos State Government in Nigeria announced in December that the Agege Pen-Cinema bridge will be opened to vehicular traffic in February. The project is said to be 90% complete with all civil works already completed.

Speaking during an unplanned inspection of the project, Lagos governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said that the only work left on the bridge was turning intersection improvements at the descending part of the bridge and signalization for ease of traffic movement.

The contractors have light up the bridge while some minor adjustments are ongoing on the bridge simultaneously. Here are some images as obtained by AutoReportNG
