Late Billionaire Bolu Akin-Olugbade Rolls-Royces, Library, Clothes Put On Display At His Service Of Songs
Late Bolu Akin-Olugbade was finally put to mother earth on Thursday, 4th Feb. 2021 by family, friends and well-wishers. The late Bolu Akin-Olugbade died in January of COVID-19 complications in a hospital in Lagos.
The service of songs was held at his private residence in Lagos, during the service of songs, his Rolls-Royces, clothing and library, belonging to late billionaire and trained lawyer Bolu Akin-Olugbade were put on display.
Bolu is a native of Owu kingdom in Ogun state, late Akin-Olugbade was one of the world’s biggest Rolls-Royce collector. He loved the brand so much that he had 10 Rolls Royce that had his customized plate numbers- ‘BOLU 1, 2, 3, 4, 5…”
The two Rolls-Royces on display includes his Phantom VII sedan and the Cullinan SUV. The two cars wore customized plate numbers- ‘BOLU 9” and ‘BOLU 10”.
Bolu Akin-Olugbade is the biggest collector of Rolls-Royce in Nigeria and one of the largest in Africa. He took delivery of his first Rolls-Royce in 1984 and by 2019, his garage housed 10 Rolls Royces.
The Aare Ona Kakanfo of the Owu Kingdom in Abeokuta had been pictured many times posing with his British-made ultra-luxury cars.
