Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu yesterday commissioned the Lagos-Ogun State Boundary Network of roads with the bridge (Phase II) Old Otta Bridge, Suberu Oje, Adekoya & Makinde Street.
The 2nd phase of the Lagos-Ogun Boundary network of roads involves the construction 4 roads with a bridge to improve connectivity with neighbouring Ogun State while providing multiple travel options within the Local Government.
The network of roads with a total length of 6,264m and a 120m bridge was started by the last administration and in line with Mr Governors promise not to abandon any project, was completed to further show government determination to adopt infrastructural development.
The dual carriageway road has Walkway on both sides, culverts, Layby, Street lights, service ducts, lane markings, outfall drains etc
The Benefits of this project includes;
– Alternative route to Ogun State
– Improved Traffic Flow
– Reduced traffic congestion
– Enhanced Security and safety
Governor Sanwo-Olu appeals to the Community Leaders of the area to take charge of the road infrastructure, and make sure it is protected to serve the community for good and for a very long time.
