V-Rail – The Futuristic Green Railway System Concept for CRCC

Published

on

V-Rail is a brand new concept of an electric train that runs on a very complex railway system.

It offers a new and fast way to travel, especially in overcrowded urban areas. This concept of railway system makes it possible to build public transportation in the cities and at the same time, it connects the metro areas and downtown, including neighborhoods around.

The goal of this project is to reduce traffic jams, make it possible to create more pedestrian zones, and reduce excessive usage of fossil fuels. This railway system has been designed to make sure it benefits not just people, but also urban transportation and the environment.

V-Rail system provides you with an autonomous electric train that consists of two big train cars and one small train car to make it easier to turn on small curves. One big train car can easily accommodate up to 150 people or 64 people with special areas for people with disabilities.

The railway path of V-Rail features three levels: Level 1, Level 0, and Level-1. Level 1 provides cyclist tracks, stationaries, tables, benches, and pedestrian zones, it’s also the floor where you get to access the autonomous train. The idea here is to cover all the area with glass walls, providing pedestrians and cyclists a safe route to move from one point to another while enjoying their surroundings. Level 0 is also partially covered with pedestrian zone and cyclist tracks, it’s the middle level that gets you to access Level 1 and Level -1. It is more of a recreation zone, coffee shops, and other utilities. Level -1 (underground) offers urban areas with enough parking space for vehicles where people can walk safely from one point to another.

Designed by Zbanca Andrei and visualized by Mihai Cebotari, V-Rail Complex Railway System also incorporates solar panels on top of the railway complex station to help reduce its energy bill.
