Dangote Drives Himself In His G-Wagon To Console Pastor Ituah Ighodalo (VIDEO)
Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote has been known despite his wealth as a man with a simple lifestyle, he can drive across your street without no security details or aides, in fact, he loves his freedom.
Dangote visited the bevered pastor, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo who lost his wife, Pastor Ibidunni to the cold hands of death over the weekend, she was said to have died of cardiac arrest according to a press release by the family. Arriving at the pastor’s residence, Dangote drove himself in a grey Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon SUV car.
Ibidunni Ituah-Ighodalo died in the early hours of Sunday morning in Port Harcourt, in the southeast of the country.
The cause of death was cardiac arrest, according to the family.
Ighodalo, 39, was due to celebrate her 40th birthday next month July 19, and had been travelling across the country to build isolation centres for coronavirus patients, her family said.
As well as being the co-pastor of Trinity House church in Lagos, Nigeria, along with husband Ituah Ighodalo, she also ran upscale, luxury events services Elizabeth R, a leading event management company in the country.
An Overview Of The G-Wagen Mercedes SUV
Dangote’s version of G-wagon that he drove is a Mercedes-Benz G-Class car, sometimes called G-Wagen (short for Geländewagen, “terrain vehicle”), is a mid-size four-wheel drive luxury SUV manufactured by Magna Steyr (formerly Steyr-Daimler-Puch) in Austria and sold by Mercedes-Benz.
The G-Wagen is characterised by its boxy styling and body-on-frame construction. It uses three fully locking differentials, one of the few vehicles to have such a feature.
Despite the introduction of an intended replacement, the unibody SUV Mercedes-Benz GL-Class in 2006, the G-Class is still in production and is one of the longest produced vehicles in Daimler’s history, with a span of 40 years. Only the Unimog surpasses it.
