LASEMA Puts Off Ogba Petrol Station Fire
The LASEMA Response Team in a swift response earlier on Tuesday extinguished the fire outbreak that occurred inside Yerevan Oil Station. A filling Station located at Ajayi Road in Ogba Aguda area of Lagos.
On arrival of the LASEMA team at the scene of the incident, it was revealed that the fire outbreak occurred as a result of spillage from the articulated truck laden with 33,000litres of Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, (Petrol).
However, no loss of lives nor injuries sustained, the inferno was quickly curtailed due to the prompt response of the Agency’s Team in conjunction with the Lagos State Fire Team.
The leaky valve which was the source of the inferno was shut off, the inferno was extinguished, while the Team Blanketed the truck and the entire area in order to avert any secondary incident.
