Amaechi, Hadiza Usman inspect Apapa Seaport, Quay Rail Tracks

Earlier today, the minister of transportation with the Managing Director Hadiza Bala Usman this morning inspected the Apapa Seaport and quay rail tracks along the route.

The Apapa railway track will be connecting the Lagos-Ibadan railway thereby relieving the Apapa road that’s overburden due to trucks on the road.

The Minister of Transportation was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Dr Magdalene Ajani; Chairman, Governing Board of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Mallam Musa Al-Hassan and the Managing Director of NRC, Fidet Okhiria also some officials of the Nigerian Customs Service were present. Recall that the NPA MD, Hadiza Usman severally accused the customs service of frustrating the Apapa Restoration Policy embarked by the NPA to take trucks off the road.
