A classic 80-year-old motor is expected to sell for as much as £30,000 (14.3 Million Naira) despite being in desperate need of some tender loving care.
The 1937 Talbot BI 105 Airline Saloon was once a rival to similar models from Alvis and Bentley, but it hasn’t been driven in nearly 40 years.
Being sold as a part restoration, the car needs significant work before it ever has a chance of getting back on the road.
All four doors are being held to the car using cable ties, the interior is missing several panels from the doors and floor and there is no roof or windows.
Having been in the possession of the current owner for the last eight years, the vehicle was previously owned by Birmingham coach builder Jack Castle.
The majority of the restoration work currently seen was done in the 1980s, which included a complete overhaul of both the engine and the gearbox, as well as maintenance of the suspension and braking systems.
The original BI 105 was unveiled at the London Motor Show in 1935, and was powered by a 3-litre six-cylinder engine.
