Live Update From 2nd Niger Bridge, Anambra Axis – Photos

In 2018, the federal government of Nigeria said work on the 2nd Niger Bridge is on-going despite several rebuttals from social media that the work has stopped.

The 2nd Niger bridge is a project that is close to the heart of the Easterners as the Onitsha Bridge which links them to the city is already wearing out which calls for an urgent replacement or a new one.

A Nigerian man went to the site to inspect the controversial 2nd Niger Bridge, where he came back with these images. According to him, there is massive work was going on there, They’re now in Atani road Ogbaru in Anambra State. The construction has been dragging for 5 years now, it was declared open by the former Pres. Goodluck Jonathan before Pres. Buhari’s administration decided to carry on with the work.

The bridge is very close to Harbour industrial layout, and from the look of things, there will be an underbridge at Atani road and Interchange Bridge at Onitsha/Owerri road.
