BRT buses complying with the state directives on social distancing
In adherence to the Lagos State Government order on Social Distancing and to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the Lagos Bus Service Ltd (LBSL) operator of the newly purchased air-conditioned buses is taking the directive quite seriously. It will be recalled that the state government has mandated all Lagos owned public transports should be at 60% capacity and there should be adequate space between the passengers.
Earlier this morning at the Oshodi Bus Terminal, it was observed that the passengers, operators and everyone is adhering to the directive as it can be seen that there were spaces in between the passengers in and outside the bus.
The Federal Government of Nigeria has relaxed the lockdown it imposed on three states which are Lagos, Abuja and Ogun states being the gateway states to Nigeria.

Lagos Bus Services Limited (LBSL) was incorporated in 2016 under the Akinwunmi Ambode Administration as a Transport Asset Acquisition, Operations, and Advisory Services Company to provide a much-needed compass and guide to the operation of Bus Services in Lagos.
