Ondo State Joins Lists Of States That Assembles Cars, Trucks (PHOTOS)
The governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu is working in making the state an industrial hub and by making it an investor-friendly state. It will recall that recently, Pres. Buhari commissioned the vehicle Assembly hub and an assembly plant.
The governor gave an update about the state of the assembly hub as it has started assembling truck parts. One of the investors at the Ondo-Linyi Industrial Hub at Ore, Ondo State, Dongfeng Trucks, has started assembling of trucks at the industrial hub.
The plant would begin full assembly of trucks when the COVID-19 pandemic subsided.
This is the first time in the history of the state that a truck assembly plant will be operating in the state.
