Last week, the federal government of Nigeria reopened the airports after been shut due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. The airports which have been shut close to 3 months were opened but this time, the domestic angle of the airport.

The nation’s capital airport, the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja and Murtala Muhammed Domestic Terminal, Lagos received their first commercial flight and they were welcome with a water salute. The first plane to arrive at Lagos Airport is the Arik Air plane which was welcome with a loud ovation.
One thing to take note is that there is strict compliance with the NCDC rule on social distancing and the health officials were on ground to see that passengers obey the laydown rules.
