Sanwo-Olu, Amaechi Visit Scene Of Train Accident Involving Two Vehicles (PHOTOS)
The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the minister of transportation, Mr Rotimi Ameachi were both at the scene of the accident involving a commercial bus, a private car which collided with a moving train at Oshodi in the early hours of Monday.

According to the Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu said:
Today, I visited the scene of the accident at Oshodi involving a train and two vehicles in the company of the Minister of Transportation, Hon. Rotimi Amaechi. It is regrettable that this happened on the day stakeholders reached a consensus to close the gates into the arena.
This is one of the concerns we have raised about commuters’ safety around the area. This accident should strengthen our resolve to prevent a reoccurrence.
This is also a clarion call on our people to be safety conscious whenever they need to drive across the rail track.
If there is a slow movement of vehicles at any railway bypass, we must keep a safe distance from the rail tracks. We have rolled out advocacy on this and we will continue to intensify efforts. The safety of the people is paramount.
