FRSC Diverts Traffic Along Benin-Ore Expressway Over Truck Accident
The Ogun State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps has said that it is on the ground handling the traffic situation that resulted from a crashed diesel truck along the Benin-Ore Expressway on Wednesday.
The FRSC said the crashed truck occupied the entire carriageway at Aturase, adding that traffic has “been temporarily diverted to an outward section of the expressway to avoid a secondary crash.”
A statement issued by the FRSC Superintendent Route Commander, Florence Okpe, revealed that “effort is ongoing for quick removal of the obstruction.”
The statement partly read, “The FRSC Sector Commander, Ogun State Command, Umar Ahmed has assured the motoring public that the rescue team would remain on scene to restore normalcy and advised motorists already in the traffic to remain calm, till normalcy is restored
