How To Replace A Lost Driver’s License – FRSC

Many times all in the bid of retrieving a lost drivers license, we end up spending more or being due by quacks who in turn issued a fake license to the unsuspecting drivers.

The Federal Road Safety Corps has given out tips on how to retrieve a stolen, missing or damaged license. Read below…

1) Obtain a police extract, sworn affidavit and photocopy of the lost driver’s license (always have a copy of your licence safely secured, for days like this) and apply as stated below

3) Pay the prescribed fees at the bank

4) Proceed to FRSC DL centre and go for physical capture of photography, fingerprint and signature. Note: If your DL has not expired but lost you don’t need biometrics rather apply for re-issue

5) The applicant DL will be reissued to him or her

Please note that is a criminal offence to have two drivers license reference numbers as the system detects fraud and completely exposed the applicant’s name what that means is that the person will no longer have a DL.
