Nigeria At 60: Checkout Colourful Display From Military, Cultural Troops And Pres Buhari Amoured Presidential Car (PHOTOS)
As it is the tradition on October 1st for the president to inspect the guard of honour being mounted by the military. President Muhammadu Buhari participates at Nigeria’s 60th Independence Anniversary Celebration at Eagle Square Abuja.
The celebration which witnessed few dignitaries both from Nigeria and from the international communities. President Muhammadu Buhari was accompanied by his wife, Aisha Buhari, vice president Yemi Osinbajo celebrates Nigeria at 60.
Among the dignitaries are the former head of state Gen Yakubu Gowon, former president Dr Goodluck Jonathan and wife, president of the senate, Dr Ahmed Lawan, speaker RT Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, chief justice of Nigeria, Tanko Muhammad, ministers at the eagle square among many other dignitaries.
One of the specular highlights of the celebration is the parade by the military, the artistic and military display by the Nigerian Air Force, the cultural troop and the march past by the military.
